Sculpture gardens
All of our group itineraries include a guided tour of the sculpture gardens.
Your group will spend the afternoon with one of friendly, knowledgeable guides and hear Henry Moore’s remarkable story, while surrounded by more than twenty of his iconic sculptures.

Studio workshops
Our tours take in Moore’s fascinating studios, where the origins of his monumental bronzes can be seen in the hundreds of small models that line the shelves.
Preserved as Moore would have used them in his lifetime, these six studio spaces reveal his processes for drawing, etching and carving.

Tapestries in the Aisled Barn
Our 16th century Aisled Barn is the only place in the world where you can see Henry Moore’s remarkable tapestries.

Henry Moore: The Sixties
As part of your visit in 2022, you will be able to enjoy our current exhibition, Henry Moore: The Sixties.
Offering a fascinating insight into Moore’s life and work during a pivotal decade, which saw increasing global demand for his work, this exhibition is only available to see until the end of this visitor season.

Hoglands, the Moore’s family home
Itinerary B offers your group the chance to visit Hoglands, Henry Moore’s family home.
Take a guided tour of the historic farmhouse, which is filled with the extraordinary collection of artworks Moore acquired during his life, along with the flints, bones and shells that inspired his work.

Henry Moore Archive
In itinerary C, you can visit the largest archive dedicated to a single artist.
Hear from members of our specialist team, who care for over three quarters of a million publications, documents, images and recordings, created and collected from the artist’s working life to the present day.

We offer a choice of three itineraries for pre-booked groups of between ten and forty visitors. All of our itineraries include a guided tour of the sculpture gardens, studios, tapestries and current exhibition.
Itinerary A
A shorter visit, ideal for groups who are travelling from further afield.

Food and drink

Rosey Lea Café
Our café is run by the friendly, local team from Rosey Lea, who have many years of experience producing delicious home-made food.
They offer a choice of menus for group visitors, which you can order in advance during the booking process, including hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, light lunches and cakes.

Picnics
If you prefer to bring your own refreshments, we have two outdoor picnic areas in the gardens with both tables and space to lay out picnic blankets.
Please note that our picnic areas are open to the elements. If you visit on a cold or wet day, we cannot guarantee an indoor space for your picnic.
For the enjoyment of all visitors, we ask that you don’t picnic in the sculpture gardens.
Getting here
We’re located just 27 miles north of London in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.
We have free coach parking on site.
Due to the narrow lanes leading to our site, we have a coach length limit of 11 metres.
